The program produce qualified science teachers in secondary education and education institutions in chemistry and biology with skills, psychology and pedagogy to make science easy, likable, and enjoyable to learn. These teachers are educators who can invest, manage, administer, and transform education through policy formulation and curricula development and reviews, to improve education systems. You will be prepared to be consultant, entrepreneur, mentors, and counsellors in education

LEARNING OUTCOME
Students who graduate from this program should be able to:
- Teach chemistry and biology subjects in secondary schools
- Effectively manage schools and perform other administrative duties.
- Advice and participate in the formulation of educational curricular in the areas of Chemistry and Biology.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative techniques in addressing educational sector problems.
Prepare to become a competent educator in life Sciences.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Two principal passes (4 points) in the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Com- puter Science, Physics or Geography OR Diploma in Education with an average of “B” or GPA of 3.0.
In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in two science subjects in the following order,
Chemistry and Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, Geography and Biology, or Geography and Mathematics; Chemistry and Physics; Physics and Mathematics; Physics and Geography.
