The project on “Agroecology methodology on vegetable crops” invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for a four years PhD scholarship at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro, Tanzania, starting early 2020. This project receives support from the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation. The PhD candidate shall test agroecological methods against fruit flies (Diptera, Tephritidae) attacking cucurbit crops in farmers’ fields in Morogoro. The successful applicant shall be paid according to the rates recommended by SUA. Females are highly encouraged to apply.
