LEARNING OUTCOME

  1. The program prepare professionals with the skill and know-how that will enable them to work independently and rapidly enter the food and beverage production and distribution sectors as well as other related sectors, in all areas from production to consumption.
  2. Also the program aims at preparing professionals to perform technical tasks in the field of management and control of production preservation and distribution of food stuffs and beverages.
  3. The graduate can enter a career in the food industry or employment in other sectors of the food chain, or employment in other sectors of the food chain, or related scientific sectors.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Two principal passes (4 points) in Chemistry and one of the following subjects: Biology, Physics, Nutrition, Home Economics, Agriculture, Advanced Mathematics or Geography. OR Diploma in Food Science, Home Economics, Nutrition or other related fields with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in two science subjects at O-Level.

FEES

Tshs 1,263,000 per year.
