LEARNING OUTCOME
Students who graduate from this program will be able to;
- Handle and assist farmers on matter related to sustainable ways of improving soil productivity and crop production.
- Work and employ themselves in agricultural-based and related firms
- Apply and develop skills in agronomy and manage natural resources and the environment sustainably.
- Formulate and execute research, analyses data and interpret results in the domain of soil science and related fields of agriculture.
- Apply aspects of crop production, agricultural enterprise and farm management, sustainable exploitation of natural resources for crop production.
- Conduct land capability/suitability evaluation and environmental impact assessment for a wide range of land use.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Two principal passes (4 points) in Biology and one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Agriculture/ Physics/Advanced Mathematics or Geography OR Diploma in Agriculture with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in two science subject at O-Level.

Tshs 1,263,000 per year.
