On the 25th and 26th of February 2023, SUA Staff affiliated with SUA Main Administration Staff Community (SUMASCO) conducted a two-day tour to the Udzungwa Mountains National and Mikumi National Parks.
This is one of the initiatives as a gesture to support The President of Tanzania Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan who unveiled the Royal Tour, filmed in Tanzania in 2021 a historical tourism movement for spearheading the must-see destinations found in Tanzania.
The chairperson of SUMASCO Josephine Lwiza thanked Vice Chancellor Prof. Raphael Chibunda and the Management of SUA for their continued support by giving Staffs time to relax and refresh which occupationally is linked to a host of benefits including well-being, improved attention and calmness for staffs.
“We have learned a lot of things at these two National Parks. SUMASCO as a representative of the SUA Community believes The President has made us proud! Therefore, we should emulate her efforts to push even harder the tourism wheel by visiting our Country’s splendors of beauty. We believe next time we will have the opportunity to visit other National Parks to see how beautiful our Country is,” said Lwiza.
All Staff returned back to Morogoro safely with a new spirit to deliver their duties.
