SUA Reaches New Heights in Research Excellence as 19 Scholars Receive National Recognition

Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) has continued to demonstrate excellence in research and innovation following the national recognition of 19 of its scholars for conducting high quality research published in high impact international journals. Each recognised research work received TZS 50 million from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, while the researchers were presented with certificates of recognition by the Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Prof. Adolf Mkenda.

The recognised scholars are Prof. Abdul Katakweba, Prof. Apia Massawe, Dr. Christopher Sabuni, Prof. Loth Mulungu, Prof. Pantaleo Kirai Munishi, Prof. Robert Machang’u, Dr. Stanlaus Terengia Materu, Dr. Winfred Baptist Mbungu, Ms. Sengiyumva E. Kandusi, Dr. Calvin Sindato, Dr. Charles Lyimo, Dr. Leonard E.G. Mboera, Dr. Renalda N. Munubi, Prof. Christopher J. Kasanga, Prof. Esron D. Karimuribo, Prof. Gerald Misinzo, Prof. Mark M. Rweyemamu, Prof. Rhodes Makundi and Prof. Sebastian W. Chenyambuga.
