Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), team up with the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) experts in a one-week workshop for curriculum designing, developing, and reviewing exercises. All Principals, Deans, Head of Departments, and members of the Curriculum development team from each department were invited. This workshop is aligned with the university’s efforts toward curricular development and implementation exercises.
The objective of the workshop is to share RUFORUM’s expertise in successfully enhancing curriculum design that integrates competence-based curricula, envisions transformative education, and competitive projects for Agri-food systems. Also, this workshop aims to develop an appreciation of SUA as a member university of RUFORUM networks and build a community of partners to amplify the potential impact of RUFORUM programs.
