The AD Scientific Index 2022 Version 2 named Prof. Rudovick Kazwala, a Professor of Ecosystems and Veterinary Public Health in the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Public Health under the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences as the best scientist in Tanzania, out of the 2000 scientists featured. Similarly, last year, Prof. Kazwala made the Sokoine University of Agriculture proud when the AD Scientific Index Report 2021 listed him as the topmost scholar in Tanzania.

The AD Scientific Index is a ranking and analysis system based on the scientific performance and the added value of the scientific productivity of individual scientists. Furthermore, it provides rankings of institutions based on the scientific characteristics of affiliated scientists.
