The vice chancellor of Sokoine University of Agriculture invites the public to the Sokoine memorial week to be held at the main campus of the Sokoine University of Agriculture from 9^th to 12^th April, 2019. The theme of the week is “Agricultural productivity and Industrialization for Tanzania’s Development: Lessons from Edward Moringe Sokoine and Prospects for the Future” .

The week is scheduled with exhibitions of agricultural technologies and a series of presentations from academia. There will be also high profile discussion on 12^th April, 2019.
