The Department of Veterinary Medicine and Public Health is one of the department under the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences work to prevent risks and threats to health based on populations.
The Department deal with sanitary production of goods, qualities of products and inspection of edible animal products for hygiene and safety to humans; meat, milk, eggs, cheese, ghee, sausages and other products as well as sanitation of production plants and factories for these products against unwholesome meat, milk adulterations.
