In this year’s event, hundreds of students have been flooding the pavilion of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) with the aim of applying to join the Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's degree, Master and PhD programs for the 2022/2023 academic year which is expected to start in November this year.

Apart from students, parents and guardians are another group of people who come in large numbers to visit the SUA pavilion; they want to know various information about SUA, including the future of their children if they get a chance to study at the university.

Speaking at different times, Mr. Wiliam Urassa and Ms. Agnetta Rweyemamu have called on parents and guardians to give their children a chance to make their own decisions, especially in choosing the programme they like to study at the University level because doing so will help them achieve their visions and dreams.

On his part, Mr. William who is among the parents encouraged other parents and guardians to seriously help their children/siblings who want to join higher education at various levels to make the right decisions about what they should study without forcing them. And all this is to help them gain a broad understanding of what to expect throughout their studies and even after they graduate.

For her part, Agnetta who is a form six graduate explained that she has personally made the decision to study the Bachelor of Tourism Management program which is offered at the Sokoine University of Agriculture in Morogoro Tanzania. She has great hope to fulfill her vision and dreams through the tourism industry after seeing major efforts made by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania under Her Excellency Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan to support and promote the development of Tourism sector.

She is advising other students who are interested in the Tourism industry to apply for admission at SUA as it is the right place for them to fulfill their desires.
