Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) has always remained focused in fulfilling the University mandates. In undertaking the outreach function, SUA has once again won 1^st Prize in Education and Higher Learning Institutions category at Economic Empowerment Exhibitions titled “5^th Empowerment Funds and Programs Exhibition” held at Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro from 8^th to 14^th May 2022.

The victory is a testimony of character that SUA has always in theory and in practice sought to innovate knowledge, innovations and technologies to continue holding leadership in academic, research, outreach and provision of services to various stakeholders within and outside the country.
