The Mobility in Innovative Green Technologies for Climate Change Mitigation and Sustainable Bioeconomy (INTERACT-Africa) project was officially launched on 3rd May 2024 at Kisumu Hotel Kenya.
The Mobility in Innovative Green Technologies for Climate Change Mitigation and Sustainable Bioeconomy (INTERACT-Africa) project was officially launched on 3rd May 2024 at Kisumu Hotel Kenya. On 2nd May 2024, the partners met in Eldoret, at Moi University, Main Campus to sign the consortium agreement. The participants included Target 1 partners from Moi University (Kenya), Mbarara University of Science and Technology (Uganda), Sokoine University of Agriculture (Tanzania), Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia), and Ifa Yangambi University (Democratic Republic of Congo) shall participate in this project and Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic) who serve as EU technical partner.
On the 2nd of May at Moi University, Main Campus, the community led by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kimengi offered a warm traditional welcome to the project participants and a leader from each participating institution planted a tree.
The Project team from the Sokoine University of Agriculture participated actively during the discussion on the way forward of the project after launch. SUA will implement 13 mobilities during the project time of four years.
