The event was attended by the Chief Human Resources Administration Officer along with other administrative officers who each had the opportunity to speak with the employees and give them various instructions related to the rules, guidelines, laws, and various procedures of public service.

Ms. Hilda Chigudulu, a Senior Administrative Officer at SUA, in her address to the employees, urged them to work hard, be ethical, and be responsible as public servants in order to help both university and the nation meet their objectives.

"As a public servant, you must follow all public service procedures, and know what to follow and what not to follow. Moreover, be disciplined, respect the relevant authorities, and cultivate good communication habits with your colleagues and the people you serve", said Ms. Chigudulu

Dr. Augustine Matondo, Chairman of the Academic Committee of the Sokoine University of Agriculture Academic Staff Association (SUASA) used the opportunity to welcome them to SUASA as members and wished them a good journey in public service and asked them to live and conform to the values of academic staff in order to achieve the goals of the university and Nation.
