As part of the implementation of the project titled” GEOICT4e (i.e. Social innovations in Geo-ICT education at Tanzanian Higher Education Institution's for improved employability”), Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) conducted a Multicompetence Challenge Learning (MCL) Campaign for 8 weeks starting from 1^st August 2022  to 23^rd September 2022.

In the MCL campaign, participants, most of whom were 2^nd and 3rd-year undergraduate students from BSc Forestry learned how to develop solutions for addressing a broader umbrella challenge on urban ecology management using a multi-disciplinary learning approach as well as open-source geospatial tools, such as QGIS, Open Data Kit, Earth Explorer, Google Map, and Google Earth Pro.
