Getting ready for International language testing Program at ELRC

The English Language Resource Centre (ELRC) of Sokoine University of Agriculture is pleased to announce its new program known as ‘Getting ready for International language testing (ILT)’.

This program intends to carter for the needs of candidates who look forward to sitting for International Language Tests at various centers within and outside the country.
 

These tests are an essential part of admission requirements to various universities across the globe. The Program also carters for candidates who intend to join various universities in Tanzania, migrate or travel to other countries for any other purposes all.
 

The main exam types include but not limited to TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language, IELTS - International English Language Testing System, TOEIC - Test of English for International Communication.


The ‘Getting ready for International language testing (ILT)’ program at ELRC is NOT for Certification but it is PRIMARILY for equipping candidates who plan to sit for these language tests elsewhere for reasons explained above.
 

The Centre provides participants with instructional and self-access learning opportunities through integrated technology-based resources to enable them to communicate confidently and effectively in academia through spoken and written modes.


Program Duration
This program has already commenced and a candidate takes a minimum of six (6) weeks from the date of joining. There will be 3 sessions per day as follows:

Sessions Time

  • Morning
    8am – 11 am

 

  • Afternoon
    11:30 am – 2:30pm
     
  • Evening
    3pm – 6pm

Clients can opt for any session they find convenient.

Program Fee structure: General clients Tshs 250,000/= per person for the entire period. SUA Staff  Tshs 200,000/= per person for the entire period, Students fee  100,000/= per person for the entire period.

Registration fee: for other clients and SUA staff is Tshs 15,000/=: Registration for students is free, Registration is open at all times on week days during office hours.
