Call for Application for Msc Scholarship Under African Plant Nutrition Research Funds (APNRF) Project - Fighting Hidden Hunger through Micronutrient Fertilization in Maize and Rice in Tanzania at Sokoine University of Agriculture (1 Position)


Background:
The above mentioned project is funded by the African Plant Nutrition Institute through the APNRF with the aim of developing effective micro-nutrient fertilization and microbial-based mobilization techniques for improved maize and rice grain yield and nutritional quality to fight hidden hunger and address SDG1, SDG 2, SDG 9 (research & innovations). The project has a capacity building component to train a vibrant, motivated individual with passion to address food security and hidden hunger through innovative agronomic approaches. 


Call for Application:
We are excited to invite applications from qualified and interested Tanzanians to fill the one MSc. positions and join our team of researchers in the fields specified above. 

Eligibility:
•    The scholarships will ONLY be considered for applicants who have secured admission or submitted application for admission into MSc. Soil Science and Land Management at SUA. 
•    The applicant must possess a BSc. in Agronomy, Agriculture General, Horticulture or related field with GPA of ≥3.8 from a reputable university. 
•    Females and people with special needs are highly encouraged to apply.
